Maybe the fleet needs something a bit more modern.... Somehow I find myself lus ting over E90 M3's. They’re cheaper than I was expecting
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Or maybe go all in on the wagon love? I think I’d be happy with a manual S4 avant. Especially in that color. Also, that interior is gorgeous.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Of course, Volvo still tugs at my heartstrings. And this just happens to be a solid price for a fantastic color
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
This Civic hatch looks pretty clean. I’ve always loved this gen, especially in this color. That said.... I think the shifter is pretty awful. Never did understand the love Honda got in that department
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Manual M5? Nuff said
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Something to make the Miata feel big. One day I’ll own a hot kei car

I’ve long subscribed to the thee vehicle theory. The perfect fleet should consist of one of each of the following: A utility vehicle, a fun vehicle, and a comfy cruiser. I’ve had three vehicles a few times, but I’ve yet to get it right. I have found it to be stressful at my income level, because one of them always needed something.

I’m still realistically 6-12 months out from thinking about a *responsible* car purchase in the $20k-ish range.

There is absolute ly a difference in price between coupes and sedans, at least for same model years. Sedans, E90s, seem to command 1-3k more than the coupes, E92, given same mileage and transmission. This seems to have been the case all along, I know when I got my E90, a similar E92 was slightly cheaper.

Just say no to V8 Audis, they look great... but I had a friend sink thousands in to a S4 avant that he bought with a full service history. That motor is hateful to work on.
One thing to consider, the 540i is a great drivers car and a straight up bargain right now.
Also... you need a bike.

Unpopular opinion - that M3 is in amazing shape, but E90 was not pretty when it came out, and it ain’t pretty now. E92 is better because of the rear stop lights.
Honda has amazing shifters - precise, shifter clicks into gear with precision and you get that snickety snick sound. What else can you ask? A bit more power connected to that transmission with about 99% of said Hondas but that’s another story.
Audi - ticking bomb. Amazing otherwise.
Suzuki is too tiny. Not made for American bodies or American roads.
Volvo.. never really understood the love for old, slow, boxy ones. I know they can go fast, but most don’t.
But, that M5. God that’s a nice looking car. I don’t like the all-black interior, but that car might have been perfect size with perfect engine with perfect horsepower. I’d do naughty things for one and I wish I had the room to store one next to a reliable daily driver. No way I’d rely on one as an only vehicle though. That poor guy is trading one for a minivan. ..

t’s the right bike unless you are doing off-roady stuff. If you want to do off road-y stuff look ar DRZs, DRs, or KLRs depending of how much time off road vs on road you want to spend (that list is organised from most dirt focused to least)
